The Beijing Lecheng Office Center is located at the intersection of the East Third Ring Road and Guangqu Road, a site with excellent visibility. The expanded Lecheng Center will be more functionally integrated into the urban subway transportation system, which will not only serve to further activate the center, but will also optimize and enhance the commercial values in the wider surrounding area. The design strives to show the strength and quality of the Lecheng Group as corporate brand at such a visible and important city node.
The architectural design emphasizes the overall sense of externality. By employing the same materiality of the current tower but with a modern design method, a modern, integrated and high-quality commercial image on the East Third Ring Road has been created.
The facade integrates the scattered building volumes through vertical lines to create an overall unified form. At the same time, it combines the roof platform and corridor between the two buildings to create a green and ecological architectural image. The commercial podium is made of materials of similar color and texture as the current office tower, creating a harmonious image. The facade of the podium is mainly made of glass, silver-gray aluminum plates and other materials with the same color finish, creating a fashionable high-end shopping atmosphere and a personalized business environment.
