The design is based on three main concepts:
- Adaptation to local conditions: the conditions of the local block and its surroundings have been thoroughly considered and it was deemed opportune to integrate the internal landscape with the surrounding ecological and hydrological systems. Furthermore, a pedestrian connection has been made with the green belt so that this natural context is easily accessible to residents.
- People-oriented: making the best of residents’ lives is a prime consideration, so we have taken great care to design an environment that develops a sense of community and promotes a healthy, active lifestyle. With the creation of different levels of public spaces, interpersonal communication within the neighborhood is encouraged, bringing forth a greater sense of social cohesion and stronger sense of community.
- Nature and health: by providing residents with a stronger dialogue with nature— the wind, water, and vegetation—a healthier, happier life will ensue. Thus, the improvement of the environmental quality of the community was a top priority in order to provide residents with a friendly and peaceful sense of psychological belonging within a beautiful ecological environment.
