Every classical building
gives us unforgettable feelings and hopes,
Because they all choose the ultimate pursuit of classics,
Only then can it be passed down in the long history.
The “Lifang system” refers to the traditional urban planning method of ancient China, which consisted mainly of the laying out of vertical and horizontal roads to divide the city into square grids, a method that has lasted for thousands of years.
Although the application of the ancient “Lifang system” gradually disappeared through the course of China’s urban history, the influence of the “Lifang system” persisted for a long time, its residual patterns visible in many cities today. The streets in the old city of Beijing still basically maintain a grid pattern of north-south and east-west directions, for example. The planning form of Jianye Spring Garden (Phase II) draws on the Lifang system of the Chinese classical city-states, with its strict order emphasizing a sense of axis and ritual, to create an iconic high-end urban community, not only noble and elegant, but also springing from the city’s richhistory.
The community is mainly composed of nine high-rise residential towers, elegant in details and rich in charm, which fully reflects the tranquility and comfort of the residential community.
The façades are symmetrical in axis bespeaking a noble and elegant building- the tripartite composition conveys a forthright façade with its principal and subordinate areas. The entryway design is concise and solemn, with warm colors embracing the resident.
The main pedestrian traffic flows from the community lobby, through the landscaped courtyard to the apartment entrances, creating a warm and noble journey home; each apartment group has been provided with a special landscape theme and the community space has integrated function and aesthetics.
The facades have been composed of aluminum plates and glass forming a contrast of color and texture. The top part has been reduced to the form of a white frame, while a champagne-colored aluminum plate is used to form a characteristic image; the middle part features square white frames with gray aluminum plates integrated with glass; the base part uses the champagne-colored aluminum plates, echoing the top part and conveying solidity.
The best building is where I am, but I do not know where nature begins and where art ends. ——YutangLin
